RDP – Really Democratic Party
Participative performance about democratization and the problem of the majority
Martin Schick is disassembling the theatre in order to build an experience room instead, where direct democracy can be tested. A thin line of humor and absurdity is guiding through this procedure, using fragility as a way of involving the audience into the dilemma of decision-making. Lottery is proposed as an alternative form of majority-decision, and ’somehow‘ the audience finally decides what is going to happen at the very end of the performance.
